Enjoy a holistic approach to exercise, combining cardio and strength training to give you a balanced workout.

HYBR1D Gym Floor Classes

Available for all fitness levels, HYBR1D is an Event Challenge which combines cardiovascular and strength-based functional exercises. Every 16-18 weeks you’ll be set a new goal (known as the Event). The Event will change every 18 weeks, giving you a new challenge to conquer. Wake up your inner athlete and join the HYBR1D fitness community.

    You’ll work with our HYBR1D coaches during regular sessions to train on both technique and fitness to enable you to complete a total of 11 exercises in the fastest time, from cycling to slam balls!

    When working out it’s important to include a variety of exercises to avoid risk of an injury from overuse or repetitive strain. HYBR1D is a great way to vary your fitness program by effortlessly combining different types of exercise activities.

HYBR1D - What can I expect from the class?

A fun, team-based session in the gym which provides guidance on training and technique to improve your performance at the next Event.

HYBR1D – What do I need to wear/bring?

Bring water and wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in. We recommend wearing supportive trainers.

HYBR1D – Which muscles are the most worked during a class?

All muscles, including heart and lungs. Different muscle groups may be targeted in line with the focus of the session.

HYBR1D – What is the difference from HIIT, Circuits and other Gym Floor classes?

HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) and Circuit Training use high-intensity cardio and strength intervals. HYBR1D focuses on varying between different types of training, from HIIT to endurance training, adjusting volume and intensity to improve your fitness levels in order to complete The Event. HYBR1D can also focus more on functional movement training, advanced lifting techniques, and targeted distances using cardiovascular machines, while HIIT features time-efficient workouts for fat loss and improved cardiovascular health. HYBR1D is all about training to complete the event in the fastest time, with similar health benefits including social and cognitive benefits.
